Haus of Kota is a kaleidoscopic collection of art pieces created in a wide time span. It features many techniques and inspirations and showcases Kostas’ artistic journey.
Kosta Neofitidis sees art as a personal experience and a personal journey.
He was initially inspired by exotic cultures and places met during years of traveling across Asia. Kosta lived for about 20 years in several East South Asian Countries and India absorbing their religion, ways of living and their slow rhythms.
Being immersed in these new dimensions, characterized by a deeply spiritualism and less focused on materiality, has helped him to discover his artistic alter ego, Kota, who was thirsty for experimenting with forms, techniques and colors to best externate his impressions and emotions of those unique moments.
Nowadays Kosta Neofitidis is still inspired by the rich world surrounding him: popular culture, myths and beautiful nature are some of the elements that bring his art pieces to life.
Kosta’s major joy is to share his art with his public and fill people's lives with a lush universe of emotions and dreamy scenes.
Awakening was the first art experience of Kosta in 2005.
Kosta went for a long trip to Thailand wanting to explore a new world as well as finding himself. He left with a few personal items, some ink pens and a notebook.
While in Haad Yuan Beach he started a new life dedicated to the care of his spirit first. He began practicing yoga and living healthier. He merged with the locals that fascinated him very much for their inner beauty and their lifestyle.
In these new dimensions he started drawing on that notepad and with those pens he had brought with him. Protagonists are basically anything that interests him: places, nature, people met, meditation, a new image of himself, all of this new world becomes part of his art creation.

Kosta Neofitidis was born in Cyprus.
The connection with his land and its culture have deeply defined his personality and his artistic and professional life.
Kosta is a true creative. He is an artist and an architect.
While having a successful career in architecture, in the early 2000’s he started traveling and living across South East Asia fascinated by the culture, religion and populations of those countries. He traveled for about 20 years before returning back to Cyprus bringing back with him waves of a new identity and a new inner world . It is during those years that he discovers art as the best way to capture those images made of landscapes, people, colors, moods and feelings. That is when “Kota” was born.
Kota is the metaphor for a voyage. A real and at the same time introspective voyage that helped Kostas to communicate his vision and his inner world through art.
Kosta Neofitidis is also an architect.
He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy.
Milan with its sparkling creativity inspired Kosta to explore and experiment his own architectural language. He was fascinated by the new waves of post-modern architecture and by the Suprematist avant garde in art.
Kosta has developed over the years a very individual approach to architecture which is minimalist but always strongly connected to nature and natural materials. Very often he likes to intersect pure geometrical shapes with natural elements as to break those sharp lines into a poetic detail.
His buildings and interiors are meant to be walked through. The “promenade” is a trail of discoveries and a source of strong emotions.
Today Kosta enjoys his life in his native island, Cyprus, where he alternates between running his gallery and architectural studio in the old Nicosia and the art studio he created in a picturesque village facing the beautiful sea of Cyprus and surrounded by a lush nature.
Today Kosta is living the best days of his artistic life, full of inspiration and looking forward to his future.
His evolution as a man coincides with his artistic journey.
