Kaleido Blue
This series of 5 plates is built around the idea of the kaleidoscope, the always changing colors and shapes that this object creates at each turn. The blu is a clear reference to the sea. Water is an essential element in all Kosta’s production as water surrounds Cyprus and it’s the most represented element.
While each plate seems to have independent life, the game starts when the plates are overlapped. Then the shapes, the colors and the combinations change at each addition.
