Back at Haad Yuan Beach for the new year celebration in 2009/2010, Kosta painted this series using inks on paper.
These drawings are festive and joyful as festive and happy are the celebration of the new year in Thailand. On New years eve it was a full moon and thanks to circumstances it was a blue moon. The locals organized a big party in honor of Buddha and in honor of this extraordinary event.
Kosta was amazed by the grandiosity of such a celebration. These artworks were born to commemorate and share those magical moments with the world. Shapes and colors are spinning and spreading life and positivity.
