Holy portrait series is inspired by the Holi, love or colors festival that every year is celebrated in India.

Kosta was in Patnem Beach, south of Goa in those days. He was intrigued by the colors explosion everywhere around him. Adults and children would paint their faces and everything was covered in beautiful, bright and joyful colors. Kosta is fascinated by the Indian tradition that wants that each color has a different meaning.

The artworks freeze those moments displaying the interesting faces of people met during those days. These portraits can have different colored backgrounds.

Each background color generates a slightly different image creating a fun choice process.
