Underwater Geometric Series

Ao Chaloklum Bay, Kho Pangan, Thailand, 2015

Underwater

The underwater series is inspired by the Ocean. A constant element in the artist’s life, water is one of the essential life elements, something magical and a source of inspiration with its dynamic and always changing form.

While in Thailand, Kosta creates his art studio on a balcony built on the sea rocks and overlooking the ocean. He can admire from here the sunset that with its unique colors helps to change feelings and gives a different aura to all the things and creatures invaded by the warmth of the sunset light.

These watercolors are a concentration of fantastic and mysterious marine creatures , vivid and alive.

Those underwater figures, with their colors and their geometry recall  a magical trip dense of emotions and abstract experiences.
