The Vivid Dreams series has a unique connotation in Kosta's production. It came to life in late 2022 as a way to organize and understand dreams. While asleep Kosta can live realistic dreams. These are known like lucid dreams because the person making these dreams can live these stories as real experiences. It is not a myth that people dreaming these particular meta-realities are prone to be more creative than average. Waking up with such strong memories and feelings, Kosta believes that painting about these dreams can be a way of recognizing their vivid experiences and establishing for them a real existence.
These artwork are a kind of diary from another reality where Kosta lives at night. His dreams are usually in black and white. For this reason the initial artworks are all in black and white. Overtime he starts adding colors. The colors chosen are the ones of his feelings and moods in those dreams. This series is a statement of Kosta’s more mature art form.
Compared to before there is less attention to details and more emphasis on the dynamics of the scene, the organic shapes don’t necessarily need to create a perfect geometric composition.
